Dominika MarciszDominika, alias Meeka, has over 8 years experience emersed in the post-production and animation industry. She is a qualified designer and animator and understands the aesthetics of creating whether in broadcasting, film, online or in print. Dominika was born in Poland, moved to South Africa when she was eleven and has recently moved to New Zealand. So it goes without saying she has plenty of entertaining and interesting stories to tell and is excited to explore the storytelling world.

Janina GaudinJanina is in pursuit of her dream to be a concept designer and illustrator. She has therefore returned to Auckland from a 6 year stint in Melbourne to let her imagination run wild with such compilations of works as "Kimono Girl and Runaway Samurai" and "Steampunk Pacific" Full of layered colours, patterns and movement, Janina's artwork alludes to a fantastical story beyond each image, enticing you to discover more of the unraveling stories.

TTONNLife is a journey of discovering possibilities within our self and others. What I see, what I hear, what I find, and all that I experience, triggers my imagination. From this inspiration I create one piece after another. People often think that I have a very broad variety of work but all I see is my everyday experience.

Jesse BodyJesse Body is a graphic artist based in Auckland, New Zealand. Bringing originality and vibrancy into a commercial environment is his upmost aim and achievement, with his visual style integrating both ‘traditional’ and digital media. At the age of 19, Jesse has set out to acquire a name for himself in Auckland city, and eventually, internationally. So far he has created numerous portraits in homage to celebrities, as well as various surreal artworks. Jesse has exhibited numerous times with collectives, and is in anticipation of having solo exhibitions.

Kathy ReadyOriginating from Whangarei, Kathy completed her B.A. (Fine Arts) with Honours in Perth, Australia. Now based in Auckland, Kathy has been exhibiting internationally since 1996.
After graduating with a focus on formal technique, Kathy became fascinated with the raw spontaneity of the abstract expressionists. She started to change her oil works to combine visceral colour and form, and evolve a personal style free of realistic visual reference. See Kathy's Page |
Åste Laberg
I've always wanted to be an inventor. Therefore I choose to become an artist. In an artistic world I could choose to jump from material to material, subject to subject, and do whatever that pleases me. But the artistic world was a hard and unfree world, so I changed direction and become an interaction designer. Here I could finally go deeper into the understandings of humans and their weird behaviours. And at this point, between human understanding and analyses, I'm back to creating art they way I love it: being an inventor and doing whatever I feel like!

Andrew MerlinoThe only art form that enables me to honestly express my interpretations and experiences of the human condition is filmmaking. It helps me work through the complexity of life and make some sense out of it.

Alle ZieleI'm a travelling science-artist here in NZ. I am a hybrid between scientist and artist but only by speaking in biological terms. I don't decide between art and science, for me it is the same context, only on different sides of the spectrum.

Amanda TomasoaAmanda Tomasoa has gone through enough in life to know how it feels to be repressed and the euphoria of being set free. She knows about having inner strength and finding beauty in the ugliness of the world.
She is an artist, songwriter, craft person and public speaker all rolled into one! See Amanda's Profile |
FarZad ZamaniSince my childhood, I was concerned with many contradictions, virtually and in reality. The contrasts of my life, since the time that I remember, from impoverished to a well-off family, from traditional, religious environment to a secular, liberal father, from an educated mother to a nasty school environment, from street fights to painting, from social life to an extreme individualism and many other opposing situations; they constituted and deconstructed my identity.

Neha MalhotraI've always been conscious of a schizophrenic duality in my life.. But, I'll leave my heavier questions from life and of the human condition aside here and tell you a bit about myself...
I've always known, with unmovable certainty that I'm a 'Creative' of some sort. So I write, photograph and yearn to pour my soul into something tangible. The transformation of something as transitory as (my) self into a piece of art challenges my comfort zone- a place I float around quite vaguely. A wandering minstrel, whirling dervish or just the girl of smudged kohl fame. What you see is but a moment of stillness. |
